AK series generators are available with the optional 'Warm Start" feature that keeps water in the tank preheated to a temperature just below boiling.  With the "Warm Start" feature activated, steam begins flowing into the steam room in less than 60 seconds after the user turns on the generator, reducing the time required to heat the room to its desired temperature by several minutes.  The "Warm Start" feature can be disabled with a simple on/off switch to eliminate unnecessary power consumption when the steam bath will not be used for extended periods of time. 

AK series generators come with a standard manual drain valve with an optional automatic flushing system.  The ADK auto drain option drains the generator tank following each steam bath and flushes water through the tank to reduce sediment build up and provide longer element life.  The tank remains empty until the next steam bath, when the tank is refilled with fresh water for a more pleasant bathing experience.

Amerec "Cool Touch" steam heads ensure each steam bath is a safe and pleasurable experience.  An internal insulator delivers steam into the room while the surface temperature of the brass steam head does not exceed 125 degrees Farenheit, reducing the risk of burns.  The "Cool Touch" steam head features a fragrance reservoir that allows the bather to enjoy the benefits of aromatherapy by dropping their favorite fragrance onto the reservoir.

Amerec AK series generators are designed for 208/240V, 1 Phase power.  The 3K version of the AK series generators are designed for 208V, 3 Phase power.  Residential controls and accessories are compatible with both AK and 3K models.

Vapormist generators feature quiet operation, low energy consumption, very small water consumption and steam flow within 80 seconds from start up.  A built-in 60 minute timer and low-voltage on/off button that can be mounted inside or outside the steam enclosure are included with each Vapormist generator.

The K200i Freedom Control provides the ultimate steam bathing experience.  The wireless remote control allows the bather to operate control functions from virtually anywhere within 50' of the steam shower.  Imagine monitoring the temperature of your steam bath while reading the morning paper and brewing coffee in your kitchen.  The K200i features a large 2.4" colored LCD display and universal icons to navigate settings.

Installation is simplifies as there is no need to run control cables inside shower walls or drill large holes through expensive marble, granite or tile wall material.  The K200i wireless remote communicates with the steam generator much like a cordless phone handset communicates with its base.  The Freedom Control saves installation time and cost, and eliminates the need to open up walls  to install control cables when adding steam to a remodel project.

The K200i Freedom Control includes a surface mount dock that features an integral temperature sensor, LED indicator light and an on/off button to turn the steam bath on or off whenever the remote control is not available.  The dock must be mounted inside the steam shower and provides a convenient place to "park" the remote during the steam bath.  It attaches to the shower wall with double-sided tape (provided) and has knockouts for optional screws. 

The Freedom Control also comes with a charging base to recharge the four AAA NiMH batteries that power the remote.  The 120V charger is similar to a cell phone charger and is designed to sit on a bathroom counter or night stand. 

Chromotherapy Lighting Option installed in the ceiling of the steam shower provides the varied sensations of colored light therapy to achieve optimal health and well being.  Research has shown that certain colors have psychological and physiological effects on people.
