Galvalume® Steel Frame
The Galvalume® Steel Frame used in
MAAX Spas® units
has the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any building material available.
The light-gauge steel frame provides greater structural integrity than wood as
well as superior corrosion protection for a much longer life. Unlike wood,
steel is dimensionally stable. It will not expand or contract with moisture,
which over time can damage the spa's exterior. Sturdy and built to last, the
inorganic properties will never rot, warp, split or crack and eliminate
worries of animal infestation or termite damage. Stronger, more durable and

Continuous Cast Acrylic
It's amazing how something so strong can be so
beautiful. Every MAAX Spas® hot tub has an attractive interior finish made
from continuous cast acrylic. The hard, non-porous surface resists stains,
fading, scratches and chemical abuse. With the look of granite, pearl or metalescence, the extremely rugged and durable finish offers beauty and peace

GRIP® Backing System
The importance of a strong, well-constructed spa goes
far beyond the beauty of the shell's finish. It has to be tough enough to
withstand countless numbers of visitors climbing in and out as well as extreme
hot and cold elements - all while supporting over two tons of water. The
proprietary GRIP® backing system used in MAAX Spas® units was developed by
in-house engineers to provide a strong and rigid reinforcement to the acrylic
spa shell. The application eliminates the possibility of blistering or delamination. The core mat provides solid reinforcement to the foot well,
preventing flexing and helping carry the extreme weight of the spa. Rugged,
durable and well prepared for years of service, it's exactly what you'd expect
from the name you know and trust.
DuraMaax™
DuraMaax™ is a state of the art wood-alternative
material that has the look and feel of natural wood - without the maintenance.
The material is impact resistant, impervious to weather or insect damage and
will never splinter, crack or rot. The attractive exterior locks in heat and
seals out cold air - providing a beautiful, never before seen backyard look
and feel.
Thermolock IV™
Quiet operation, superior heat retention and total
peace of mind are all benefits you'll enjoy with Thermolock™ Technology. With
over 100 years of experience in product insulation - MAAX® is the brand to
trust. Providing peace of mind - Thermolock IV™ is the ultimate in sound and
heat energy management. The unique thermal barrier technology recycles radiant
heat energy for faster, more efficient heating and reduced energy costs.
Inside we use a Pre-Foam Construction process, applying a thick layer of
closed-cell, high-density foam insulation to the underside of the spa shell
before the plumbing is installed. This ensures a uniform thermal barrier to
keep heat in the spa, while strengthening the shell. Additional high-density
foam insulation is applied to the sealed ABS pan, which locks in the frame and
prohibits heat loss through the floor. Finally, we line all four sides, plus
the floor, with patented Reflectix® insulation to create an infrared thermal
barrier within the interior air space. Radiant heat energy from the pumps and
equipment reflects back to the spa and is absorbed into the plumbing. This
helps raise and maintain water temperature, improving heat efficiency. Energy
created by the spa, stays in the spa, and worry-free enjoyment is all that
remains.
Insulating Covers
MAAX Spas® premium grade
insulating covers are designed for maximum heat and moisture retention. The
unique, tailored fit design keeps water from evaporating while maintaining the
perfect spa temperature. The cover also acts as an important safety barrier to
the spa. The Super Heat Seal Gasket locks in heat and moisture, saving money
and requiring less maintenance. And underneath, a world of soothing
satisfaction awaits.
ABS Sealed Pan
The ABS Sealed Pan is an integral part of the support
structure in a MAAX Spas® hot tub. The pan interlocks with the steel frame
and the spa shell to form an incredibly strong foundation for the spa to rest
on. Its one-piece construction provides a rugged yet aesthetically pleasing
foundation that truly seals the bottom of the spa, locking in heat, sealing
out moisture as well as unwanted visitors, and saving you money. Extremely
durable and maintenance free, it's the perfect platform, for the perfect
getaway.
High-Flow Heater
Designed for maximum flow performance and corrosion
protection, the MAAX Spas® High-Flow heater is a straight, flow-through
manifold that contains a heating element. The simple design minimizes drag and

56 Frame Pump
The hardest working and perhaps the most important
component of any spa is the pump. Every basic function from heating and
filtering the water to providing a powerful and soothing massage depends on
the pump system. That's why MAAX Spas® hot tubs utilize industrial-duty 56
frame pumps in all of their 240 volt models. The 56 frame motor is larger,
more powerful and delivers higher water flow for better jet performance than
the 48 frame motors found in most spas.
MAAX Spas® hot tubs utilize
motors that run cooler for longer life, have lower amp draw for lower
operating costs and have the ability to handle higher torque loads for

Powerworks™ with m7 Technology

An advanced, state of the art spa controller provides
the ultimate in ease of use, safety and reliability for every spa user. The
Powerworks™ with M7 technology is a revolutionary new hardware/software
platform that completely eliminates mechanical sensor switches and remote
through-wall temperature sensors. The M7 platform features two identical solid
state sensors that mount inside the heater manifold. These "Smart Sensors"
accurately and reliably measure water temperature while monitoring critical
water conditions without the possibility of failure due to mechanical switch
malfunction. Easy to read, a touch of a button allows you to change the
temperature, turn on your lights or control your massage. It's all yours with
a MAAX Spas® hot tub.

Filtration
Perfect moments deserve perfect, crystal clear
water. All MAAX Spas® hot tubs provide balanced filtration, as water is
drawn into the system from both the upper skimmer and lower footwell areas.
The High-Velocity Skimmer draws water into the filter system to capture
surface debris and contaminants. We've taken things a step further as our
unique First Filter™ removes silt and fine particulates that would pass
undetected through an ordinary filter. The skimmer basket traps larger
materials such as leaves and debris - and the basket is then easily removed
for quick cleaning. 100% filtration means every drop of water is filtered
before reaching the Powerworks™ 56 frame pump as our high volume filter
cycle cleans your spa water 4 to 6 times per hour. Glistening clean water,
in a moments notice.
Performance Seating
Performance seating has earned us the reputation of
having the most comfortable spas in the industry. Each seat is designed to
provide full body immersion and correct sitting posture in harmony with their
respective jetting pattern for superior comfort and performance. In other
words, seats that "fit you just right." Built-in comfort collars cradle your
head while side bolsters hold your body in an ergonomic position. Built-in

This unique cushion wraps around your neck, gently
cradling your head while adjustable cyclone jets massage neck and shoulder
muscles. A true luxury, the Comfort Collar has been a hallmark feature of
MAAX Spas® hot tubs for many years. It has been imitated, but never
duplicated.
Dual-Speed Therapy Pumps
Enjoy 100% adjustability as Dual-Speed Therapy Pumps
allow users to select either a lively, vigorous massage on high speed, or a
softer, more tranquil massage on a low speed setting. Low-speed therapy
provides a quiet, soothing massage that can be enjoyed for longer periods of
time. Many people will begin their soak using the high-speed setting for a
brief, stimulating massage to rid them of painful trigger points. After the
kinks are gone, a low speed is set for the remainder of their soak. Perfect
for relief from arthritis, sports and muscle injuries and stress relief.
MAAX Spas® hot tubs offer dual-speed therapy in all single pump models as
well as select two and three pump models. Clearly, the aches and pains from
everyday stress are soon to be a thing of the past.
Physician Designed Zone Therapy™
Whether diminishing the stresses of everyday life,
healing sports injuries, relieving aching joints and stiff muscles due to
arthritis or simply helping to achieve a good night's sleep - your MAAX
Spas® hot tub is well prepared to reach that destination with Physician
designed Zone Therapy™. Zone Therapy™ utilizes strategically positioned jets
to target specific pain zones that contain muscular trigger points. More jets
doesn't necessarily mean a more effective massage. Precisely locating the
correct size jet and massaging action where it matters most is the key to
bringing total relaxation and soothing relief throughout the entire body.
The Zone Therapy™ concept has been designed and
evaluated by medical specialists in the fields of physical rehabilitation and
massage therapy. Extensive use of larger broad sweeping adjustable jets knead
and massage away painful trigger points in identified pain zones, inducing the
feeling of total rejuvenation.
Zone 1: Suboccipital
Tension and trigger points in the many muscles where
the neck meets the back of the head is a common cause of headache and neck
soreness.
The Comfort Collar gently cradles your head while
targeting this area with an optimally positioned array of Cyclone Jets to
provide the ultimate soothing relief.
Zone 2: Trapezius
Tension and muscular trigger points in this region
can contribute to a feeling of heaviness and pain across the shoulders,
shoulder blades, upper back and neck as well as pain into the jaw and ears.
Clusters of Cyclone Jets target these sensitive
areas, providing an improvement in blood circulation and gently dissolving
away heaviness across your upper back and shoulders.
Zone 3: Paraspinal
Increased tension in the back muscles on either side
of the spine can be linked to many medical conditions and disorders. Pain
felt in the ribcage and chest can also be related to trigger points found in
these muscles.
An effective combination of Cyclone, LS Cyclone
Swirl and the large XL Cyclone Swirl Jets provide soothing stimulation to
overworked muscles in this area for incredible body relaxation.
Zone 4: Lumbosacral
Aching lower back pain is something most of us will
experience at some point in our lives. Back pain is linked to excess tension
and muscular trigger points in the lower back.
The large XL Cyclone Swirl Jet with its broad,
swirling motion provides an invigorating massage to the lower back to loosen

Zone 5: Gluteal
Many of us spend far too much time sitting. This can

The Foot Relief Zone™ is a specially designed alcove
at the foot of the lounger that creates a whirlpool for your feet, vanishing
days of aches and pains in no time. When manipulated through massage, the feet

body. Similar to the principles of reflexology, swirling, aerated water
targets pressure points on the entire surface of the foot, essential for total
